Ronald
Ronald A. Charles, MD MHSA FACP FACHE is the chair of the Crescent Educational Foundation of Detroit. He is a native of Detroit, educated in Detroit Public Schools and is an alumnus of Cass Technical High School. He received his BS from The University of Michigan, MD from Wayne State University, and a Masters in Health Services Administration from Salve Regina University.
Board certified in both Internal Medicine and Health Care Management, Ronald is the former Vice President of Medical Affairs and Chief Medical Officer for Buckeye Health Plan and Michigan Complete Health, both are subsidiaries of Centene Corporation. He is an active member of St. Matthew’s and St. Joseph’s Episcopal Church, a member of The Episcopal Diocese of Michigan’s Cathedral Chapter, a volunteer physician at The Cabrini Clinic, and the Director of Education for Alpha Alpha Beta Sigma Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc.
